Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to FitKarta. By downloading, installing, or using the FitKarta mobile application or website (collectively, the “Platform”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Platform. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and FitKarta.
Eligibility
Age Requirements
- You must be at least 13 years old to use FitKarta
- Users aged 13–17 require verified parental or legal guardian consent
- By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements
Account Integrity
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your information to keep it accurate
- Keep your login credentials confidential and not share your account
- Notify us immediately at admin@fitkarta.com of any unauthorised use of your account
- Take full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
Right to Refuse
FitKarta reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel subscriptions at our sole discretion, particularly where we believe users are in violation of these Terms.

FitKarta offers a range of features across different subscription tiers:
Free Tier (Starter)
- Access to the exercise library with guided instructions
- Basic workout logging and history
- Step and activity tracking
- Community challenges and beginner routines
- Progress photo storage
AI Coach Plan
- AI-generated personalised workout plans that adapt over time
- Smart meal planning based on your dietary profile and goals
- Guided yoga & workout video library (Hindi and English instructions)
- Cycle-aware training (menstrual cycle integration)
- Recovery-based plan adjustments using sleep and stress data
- Habit tracking with streak rewards and accountability features
- Advanced progress analytics and body composition tracking
- Priority in-app support
Personal Trainer Plan (Coming Soon)
- All AI Coach features included
- Dedicated certified personal trainer assigned to your account
- Weekly video check-ins and form review sessions
- Trainer-curated workout and nutrition programmes
- Direct in-app messaging with your trainer
- Monthly goal reviews and programme adjustments
Enterprise Wellness (Coming Soon)
- Team and fleet management dashboard for HR and wellness teams
- Bulk employee onboarding and progress reporting
- Custom branding and white-label options
- Dedicated account manager and SLA guarantees
- HRMS and corporate wellness platform integrations
Feature Changes
FitKarta reserves the right to modify, add, or discontinue features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes to paid-tier features.
User Responsibilities
Acceptable Use
You agree to use FitKarta only for lawful, intended purposes. You agree to:
- Provide honest and accurate health and fitness information
- Use the Platform only for personal, non-commercial health and fitness tracking
- Follow all exercise instructions responsibly and within your personal physical limits
- Consult a qualified medical professional before beginning any new fitness or nutrition programme
- Respect other users and maintain a positive community environment
Prohibited Activities
You must NOT:
- Use the Platform for illegal purposes or in violation of any regulations
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform without authorisation
- Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other accounts
- Impersonate FitKarta staff, other users, or any other entity
- Create multiple accounts to abuse free trials or promotions
- Use the Platform to harass, bully, or harm other users
- Sell, sublicense, or commercially resell your account access
- Post false or misleading health claims in any community features
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination without refund, and may be reported to relevant authorities where applicable.
Health & Medical Disclaimers
Not a Medical Service
- FitKarta is a fitness tracking and coaching application — NOT a medical device, clinical service, or healthcare provider
- Content on FitKarta (workout plans, nutrition guidance, AI insights) is for informational and motivational purposes only
- Nothing on FitKarta constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, clinical assessment, or medical treatment
- FitKarta does not replace professional medical care, physiotherapy, dietitian services, or mental health support
Your Responsibility
- Consult a licensed physician or healthcare provider before starting any new exercise or nutrition programme — especially if you have a pre-existing condition
- Discontinue any exercise that causes pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or discomfort and seek medical advice
- Do not ignore professional medical advice based on anything you read or receive on FitKarta
- You assume all risks associated with participation in physical activities facilitated or suggested by the Platform
Fitness Activities Risk
Physical exercise, by its very nature, involves risk of injury. FitKarta strives to provide safe, evidence-based guidance, but individual results, capabilities, and circumstances vary significantly. You are solely responsible for determining whether any activity is appropriate for your current physical condition.
If you are pregnant, recovering from surgery, managing a chronic illness, or have not exercised in more than 6 months, please consult your doctor before using FitKarta's workout features.
Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds
Free Plan
The Free (Starter) plan is available at no charge and includes limited features as described. FitKarta reserves the right to modify free tier features at any time.
Paid Subscriptions
- Paid plans (AI Coach, Personal Trainer, Enterprise) are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
- Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes
- Annual plans offer a discounted rate compared to monthly billing
- Your subscription begins immediately upon successful payment
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions auto-renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will receive a reminder notification before renewal. Cancellation can be done:
- From within the app under Settings → Subscription
- Through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) subscription management
- By contacting admin@fitkarta.com at least 24 hours before your renewal date
Refund Policy
- Monthly subscriptions: No refunds are issued once the billing period has started
- Annual subscriptions: A pro-rata refund may be issued within 7 days of purchase if you have not materially used the service — contact admin@fitkarta.com
- Payments processed through the App Store or Google Play are subject to Apple's and Google's respective refund policies
- FitKarta does not have access to your card details and cannot process refunds outside of official payment channels
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price changes. Your continued subscription after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Intellectual Property
FitKarta Owns
- The FitKarta name, logo, brand identity, and trademarks
- The Platform's source code, algorithms, and AI models
- All workout content, exercise videos, nutritional guidance, and editorial content we have created
- UI/UX design, graphics, and multimedia assets
All such intellectual property is protected by copyright, trademark, and trade secret law. You may not reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any FitKarta IP without express written permission.
Your Content
Content you create on FitKarta — such as workout logs, progress photos, and custom exercises — remains yours. By uploading content to the Platform, you grant FitKarta a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the service to you.
You retain all ownership rights and may delete your content at any time.
Limited Licence to You
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial fitness tracking purposes, subject to these Terms.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Platform is Provided “As Is”
FitKarta is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
What We Are Not Liable For
- Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill
- Personal injury or property damage arising from your use of the Platform
- Errors, inaccuracies, or outdated content on the Platform
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data despite our security measures
- Actions or content of third-party integrations (Apple Health, Google Fit, payment processors)
- Service interruptions, downtime, or Platform unavailability beyond our control
Maximum Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FitKarta's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to FitKarta in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Informal Resolution First
We encourage you to contact us at admin@fitkarta.com before initiating any formal dispute. We genuinely want to resolve issues quickly and fairly. Most concerns can be addressed within 5–7 business days.
Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes arising from your use of FitKarta are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be modified or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining Terms will continue in full force and effect.
Modifications to These Terms
FitKarta reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes:
- We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page
- We will notify you via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect
- For significant changes, we may require you to actively accept the new Terms before continuing to use the Platform
Your continued use of FitKarta after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree to the new Terms, please discontinue use and contact us to close your account.
